Poinsettia producers across Europe are invited to take a special survey which aims to improve industry chances for growth, funding, and knowledge exchange. The survey is part of the ongoing EU-funded project Stars Unite Europe, which is led by SfE, the industry-backed Europewide marketing initiative which aims to increase poinsettia sales.<\/p>\n

These insights will be conveyed to the EU funding body REA (the European Research Executive Agency) through SfE\u2019s ongoing EU-funded projects, and will be used to support the development of future projects and funding applications. These projects, in turn, aim to support the poinsettia sector overall \u2013 primarily through marketing and promotion, which creates sales growth, as well as industry support and development through sharing knowledge and resources across the supply chain.<\/p>\n

Stars for Europe<\/strong>
\nSfE is led by poinsettia breeders Beekenkamp Plants, D\u00fcmmen Orange, Selecta One, and Florensis. From 2017 to 2020, the campaign initiated more than 9200 media clippings, reaching 1.8 billion people with strategic content, alongside a wealth of other promotional measures both digital and traditional.<\/p>\n
